Organising institutions

The Young Researchers in Acoustic Metamaterials (YRAM) network was founded under the impetus of the DENORMS Action CA15125. YRAM aims to enhance collaboration between young researchers on acoustic and elastic metamaterials.

YRAM is a non-profit association based in France.

The Acoustics Laboratory of Le Mans University (LAUM) is a Joint Research Unit of Le Mans University and the CNRS (UMR 6613). LAUM counts about 160 people.

The activities of LAUM focus on acoustics “of the audible”, with recent developments in vibrations and ultrasounds.
