How to reach Leuven

We strongly recommend to check the timetables before your arrival, since some services might not be available if you arrive in the late evening or early in the morning.

(1) If you arrive in Belgium by international train

• Arrival in Bruxelles Midi (Brussel Zuid) train station
  From there you can take a national train to Leuven:
  >5 trains/hour, one-way ticket costs 13.5€, around 30mins to reach Leuven.
• Arrival in Liège-Guillemins train station
  From there you can take a national train to Leuven:
  1 or 2 trains/hour, one-way ticket costs 6.7€, around 30mins to reach Leuven.

(2) If you arrive in Belgium by plane

• Arrival in Brussels Airport
  From there you can take a national train to Leuven:
  1 or 2 trains/hour (more connections with a change), one-way ticket costs 11.5€, around 15mins to reach Leuven.
• Arrival in Brussels South Charleroi Airport
  – Trip 1. Take the TEC A2 bus to Fleurus train station and from there a train to Leuven:
  1 connection/hour, one-way total cost 16.2€, around 1h 30mins to reach Leuven.
  – Trip 2. Take the Flibco bus to Bruxelles Midi train station and from there a train to Leuven:
  3 connections/hour, one-way total cost 22.6€, around 1h 45mins to reach Leuven.
