Information regarding the talks

Regular talks will be 20 minutes long: 15 minutes presentation and 5 minutes questions.

Plenary talks will be 1 hour long, with 45 minutes presentation and 15 minutes questions.

As with the previous Symposia on Acoustic Metamaterials, the sessions will be chaired by PhDs and ECIs.

Registration and abstract submission

The registration fee is 275.00 €, and registration is mandatory in advance.

The fee covers lunches on the 3 days of the symposium, coffee breaks in the morning and afternoon, and the social events from 15^th April 2026 to 17^th April 2026.

• For presenters, abstract submission must be completed together with registration by February 1^st February 15^th 2026.
• For attendees without presentation, registration should be completed by March 15^th 2026.
• For accompanying persons (not attending the conference), registration is required by March 15^th 2026. They will pay only the price of lunches and dinners indicated in the form.

If the number of attendees wishing to present exceeds the available slots, participants will be selected according to the following criteria (not in order of importance): abstract evaluation, representation of all laboratories, balance between PhD students and postdoctoral researchers, and order of registration.

Registration Waivers and Travel Grants

A limited number of registration waivers and travel grants will be awarded on a competitive basis.

• 10 registration waivers ( 275.00 € each)
• 5 travel grants in total:
• 250.00 € for participants based in Europe
• 500.00 € for participants based outside Europe

To apply, submit one PDF containing a 1-page motivation letter that outlines your background and affiliation, the work you plan to present, your motivation for attending the conference, any current or pending funding for your project, and why a registration waiver and/or travel grant is needed.
